Classic pet portraits for dog people
Because dogs are family
Let’s face it - your dog is basically a person with fur, and they run the show. They’ve been by your side through the highs, the lows, and all the everyday moments in between. If you’ve ever thought, “my dog would never sit still for photos,” you’re not alone. But here’s the truth: perfect behavior isn’t required. These sessions aren’t about perfection - they’re about capturing your dog’s spirit and celebrating what they mean to you. With a little patience (and a few treats), we’ll create portraits that reflect the heart, soul, and quirkiness that make your dog one of a kind.
Their gray hairs come quicker than you think - don’t wait to capture your best friend.

Absolutely yes! I always encourage families to include their dogs, as they're part of the family and those memories of you with your best friend are priceless.
-
No training? No problem. I’ve worked with all kinds of dog personalities—patience, treats, toys, and a little space go a long way. Most dogs are photographed on a leash, which can often be removed in editing if needed.

We'll discuss the best location for your session during the planning consultation. My studio is conveniently located near downtown Houston. Your home can be a great backdrop for portraits; and there’s a wide variety of urban and rural settings throughout the Houston area. View the family portfolio to see more images taken in studio, at home, or outdoors.

Think of dressing your family in a cohesive color palette, not matchy-matchy. Classic pieces in solid, neutral colors tend to photograph best. Many families like to do two looks - one dressy and one casual - for added variety during their session.
-
Most people choose to decorate at least one wall in their home with wall art, and then put the rest of their favorite images in an album or folio box. I’ll be your design consultant and help you select the sizes and finishes to complement your space. With your artwork purchase, you'll also receive the matching digital file(s), which can be used for archiving, personal printing, and sharing online.
